Our list has 11 pro baseball teams in North Carolina: two Triple-A clubs, three High-A clubs, four Low-A clubs and two independent Atlantic League teams. Most of the parks sit downtown, and several teams post kid perks. Below is what each team’s own site said on Nov 3, 2026.

Not confirmed: Big-league affiliates for Durham (Rays), Charlotte (White Sox), Greensboro (Pirates), Hickory (Rangers), Fayetteville (Astros) and Kannapolis (White Sox) show only in site menus or a schedule image, not in a sentence, so we leave them out of the table. Gastonia’s own site did not load for us, and its ballpark address comes from a tourism listing. Single-game ticket prices are not printed as text on most team pages; check each team’s ticket page.

Teams That Moved
Carolina Mudcats (Zebulon): the Mudcats no longer play in Zebulon. Their old team page on milb.com gives no team, and an MLB.com news report says the club moved to Wilson. Wilson now has the Wilson Warbirds, a Milwaukee Brewers Low-A club that opens at home on April 2, 2027. Down East Wood Ducks (Kinston): no Kinston team page exists for 2027. A MiLB news report says the club became the Hub City Spartanburgers in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in 2025.
Not confirmed: Both moves rest on MLB.com and MiLB news reports, not on a team page we could read.
Charlotte Checkers (AHL Hockey)
The Checkers play 36 home games at Bojangles Coliseum in 2026-27, 28 of them on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. The home opener was Friday, Oct 16, 2026. Family Games and College Nights have discounted tickets (Checkers promotions). The big-league team: the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh.
Not confirmed: The Checkers’ last home date and NHL affiliate were not on the pages we read.
Soccer: NC Courage and North Carolina FC
The NC Courage (NWSL) play at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary (stadium page). Their 2026 regular season is over, and 2027 dates are not posted yet. North Carolina FC is not playing in 2026: its USL deal ended after 2025, and the club has applied to USL Division One, which starts in 2028 (USL). Major League Soccer: Charlotte FC.
Greensboro Swarm (NBA G League)
The Swarm are the Charlotte Hornets’ G League team and the reigning G League champions. Their 24-game home season runs from Friday, Nov 6, 2026 (7 p.m., vs Long Island Nets, with a banner ceremony), to Saturday, March 13, 2027 (2 p.m., vs Grand Rapids Gold). Education Day games start at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov 18, 2026, and Wednesday, March 3, 2027 (Swarm schedule).
Not confirmed: The Swarm’s arena is not named on the schedule page we read.

- Kids run the basesFayetteville lets kids 4-12 run the bases free after every Sunday game; Winston-Salem’s $25 Dash Kids Club Gold Pass (ages 12 and under) includes it after every home game.
