About Lake James State Park
Two accesses, Catawba River and Paddy's Creek, give boaters, swimmers and anglers a way onto the lake, and some campsites can only be reached by paddle. Trails include the kid-friendly Holly Discovery Trail, the Overmountain Victory Trail and the Fonta Flora State Trail.
