A Note
Do not walk on or near railroad tracks or right-of-way. Railroad land is private, active lines are dangerous, and the old Maco line was removed but the land is not a visitor site. Enjoy this one as a story, not a trip.
Its home: The Wilmington and Cape Fear area (no public site is ours to point to).
On this site: Wilmington, Fort Fisher State Historic Site.
